Where are you located? 22 Walnut Plain Road, Rochester, Massachusetts.

Do I need reservations? Yes!  The tours book up fast and are reservation only! If you have trouble with our online scheduling system email us at hartleyfamilyfarm@gmail.com or call 508-317-5000. Tours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled (based on availability).

Are the tours weather dependent? Farmers don’t cancel for rain. Our tours are rain or shine! 

Do tours leave a specific time? Yes. The tours are fully booked and do not wait for late arrivals.  Please arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you are ready to go for the start of your tour! 

 

How long does the tour last? The tour lasts 45 minutes. After the tour you will have time at the farm to check out our gift shop and ask our farmers questions. 

Is the tour appropriate for young children? There are ways for children of all ages to interact with the tour. Some children will be too small to wear waders and walk on the bogs. If this is the case an adult for your party will have to stay off the bogs to supervise the small children. 
Visitors of all ages love tractor rides, beautiful sites and new experiences! 

Will there be cranberries floating on the bog? Yes. You will walk into the cranberry bogs amidst the floating berries.

Can I pick my own cranberries? No, but we will have fresh cranberries for purchase.

Are tours handicap accessible? We do our absolute best to make our tours as accessible as possible. Please let us know when you make your reservation what type of accommodations you will need and we will do our very best to ensure you can enjoy all aspects of the tour.

Are there public restrooms? Yes, we have port-a-potties on location including one that is handicap accessible. 

Is there a farm stand/gift shop? Yes! We have a small gift shop on site.

Can I bring my pet with me? Sorry, no. Although Hartley Family Farms are big pet lovers, animals are not allowed on the farm. We are a working farm and follow strict agriculture guidelines. 

Will you charge me for photos? Absolutely not. We encourage you to take photos of your day on the bogs! There’s nothing like a selfie amongst the berries!
